Patient Rights

Overview

This course explores patient rights in the United States by examining the 7 principal patient rights named in the Consumer Bill of Rights & Responsibilities and the laws that support them. The United States has a diverse collection of laws and regulations that protect the rights of patients. After completing this course, readers will better understand the legal framework behind patient rights and thus be in a better position to advocate for the rights of their own patients.
